The earliest memorabilia we have of the club is a 1924 fixture card, this then is the year we claim to have been formed although it is likely to have been earlier than this. Our ground on Oakfield Lane in Warsop saw many changes. It was originally a cricket and football pitch, but the football field was sold in the 60’s for housing. These are the houses at the top end of the ground. Improvements in the changing facilities coincided with the upturn of playing fortunes for the club that saw Welbeck become arguably the top club in the County from the mid 80’s to the early 2000’s.We are now going through a transitional period, trying to introduce our home grown talent to fit amongst the experience we have in the teams.
